BlueScope Steel offers a warranty of 15 years* from date of installation against corrosion to perforation due to weathering in the natural elements for COLORBOND® steel used in residential walling.

BlueScope Steel also warrants for 15 years* from the date of installation that the paint system on COLORBOND® steel will not flake or peel due to weathering in the natural elements.

This warranty is applicable to residential walling applications located greater than one kilometer from a marine environment that are washed by natural rainfall.

Warranties may be available for COLORBOND® Metallic steel at distances greater than two kilometers from a marine environment but only for a maximum of 10 years.

Warranties may be available on COLORBOND® Ultra steel residential walling applications located closer to marine environments, please refer to Technical Bulletin TB 01b.
