TRU-SPEC® steel - Product Range Expansion
BlueScope are expanding the TRU-SPEC® steel product range to include HA250 16mm and HA350 10mm and 12mm
BlueScope is excited to announce an expansion of the TRU-SPEC® steel product range. This will now include HA250 16mm and HA350 10mm and 12mm. Our manufacturing team has been working hard to prove capability of 16mm on the Hot Strip Mill and the TRU-SPEC® steel line. In addition, we have proven capability to produce HA350 10mm and 12mm on the TRU-SPEC® steel line that was previously not available.
As TRU-SPEC® steel continues to deliver high quality, the feedback from our customers remains extremely positive. We love to engage with our customers on their experiences, so we can work together and look to further enhance and broaden the capability of TRU-SPEC® steel. PRODUCT RANGE EXPANSION
HA250 16MM
BlueScope can now produce HA250 16mm thick product on the TRU-SPEC® steel line. The most common size available is 16mm x 1500(W) x 3000(L). Other thick, width and length combinations are also available subject to MOQ requirements:
- Thick (mm): 16
- Width (mm): 1200 - 1500
- Length (mm): 1200 - 12000
HA350 10mm & 12mm
BlueScope can now also produce HA350 10mm and 12mm. We are excited to provide this new product range to the market. The most common sizes available are 10mm x 1500(W) x 3000(L) and 12mm x 1500(W) x 3000(L). Other thick, width and length combinations are also available subject to MOQ requirements:
- Thick (mm): 10, 12
- Length (mm): 1200 - 12000
- Width (mm): 1200 - 1500

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE - LASER CENTRAL
When TRU-SPEC® steel was launched, Laser Central undertook analysis over several months focussed on comparing the residual stress and flatness of current, old and new stock. The analysis indicated a vast improvement in flatness with laser head collisions being significantly reduced across the range of TRU-SPEC® steel product.
