XLERPLATE® steel boiler and pressure vessel grades are a range of specially designed plate products using a fully killed, fine grained carbon-manganese steel produced by hot rolling and normalising.

XLERPLATE® steel boiler and pressure vessel grades provide a range of guaranteed design strengths, guaranteed low temperature properties, excellent weldability and formability, and can be utilised as an alternative to normalised grades where good toughness is required.
