A range of steel plate grades for use in structural applications.
XLERPLATE® steel structural grades consist of a range of medium and high strength plate products with varying nominal yield strengths. Typical uses consist of structural members, general fabrications, bridges, storage tanks and structures for high-rise buildings.
To achieve your specific requirements these grades are also available as
- low temperature plate products with guaranteed impact properties at -15°C,
- floor plate that is a plate with raised pattern on one surface
- weathering resistant steel.
The benefits of XLERPLATE® steel structural grades are guaranteed minimum strength levels and excellent weldability. Medium strength grades exhibit excellent formability while high strength grades exhibit good formability.

NATA accredited test certificates are provided with each BlueScope Steel order and are kept on file. Certificates dating back to 1993 are available online for uncoated steel.
